Muchas gracias por el tema expuesto. Mi trabajo que aquí presento en este congreso se titula «Entre la curricula y la tesis de grado». Si bien hace referencia a la necesidad del conocimiento de la lengua inglesa, lo primero que tuve que explicar a los estudiantes fue la estructura de los artículos de investigación. El resumen es lo primero que leemos después del título para saber si el texto tendrá la información que busco. Conocer la estructura del resumen es un útil y agiliza la lectura. En la institución donde trabajan, ¿han llevado adelante algún proyecto que incluya la enseñanza de la lectura o escritura de resúmenes? ¿consideran que las y los docentes deberían enseñar la estructura del resumen en sus materias o deberían incluir el plan de estudio una materia en la que se enseñe las características del resumen y practiquen la lectura y redacción de los mismos?
Coincido con las autoras en que este género merece una elaboración y atención adecuada. Para ello los aportes y los pasos (o movimientos) de Swales son muy útiles para organizar estos textos. Es importante la temprana reflexión sobre la escritura de resúmenes tanto para ponencias como para artículos y, posteriormente, para trabajos de mayor aliento como una tesis. Gracias por el aporte brindado.
Interesante el aporte para insistir en la importancia de un género al que no siempre se le da la importancia necesaria. Se trata de un texto, como bien se explica en la ponencia, que requiere gran elaboración pese a su brevedad.

Pues a pesar de que los resúmenes son muy útiles sobre todo en publicaciones científicas, lo que observamos es que efectivamente, no se le da la importancia necesaria a su realización y lo más curioso es en algunas publicaciones científicas, lo primero que ven a leer los dictaminadores es el resumen para ver la pertinencia. Por ello consideremos que es muy importante que se identifique por parte del estudiante la importancia de este género discursivo. Saludos desde México.
La ponencia es muy importante. Los estudiantes universitarios deben desarrollar la alfabetización académica. Por ello, este tipo de estudios les facilita la escritura académica puesto que apelan al modelo CARS de Swales. Este modelo guía la determinación de los propósitos comunicativos de los géneros y su estructura retórica, en este caso el resumen en trabajos de grado. Ese modelo lo estoy empleando en el análisis de mi tesis doctoral.
